Foundation Studies
UPM is the only university that offers a foundation programme specialising in the agro-bio, agriculture and science fields. Graduates of the Foundation Studies of Agricultural Science are guaranteed a place in any of the 39 degree programmes offered at UPM Serdang Campus.
As this programme is conducted on the main campus, students receive early exposure to university education and access to campus facilities such as the library, sports centre, etc. Non-academic activities are also included to inculcate soft skills.
Fees for the Foundation Studies of Agricultural Science are fully borne by the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE). This includes tuition fees, hostel fees, monthly allowances and one return ticket for students from Sabah and Sarawak.
