Mohamad Syzrul is new student representative council leader for 2015/2016 sessi

SERDANG, Oct 12
– Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) student from the Faculty of Human Ecology, Mohamad Syzrul Yahya, has been chosen as the Yang Dipertua (YDP) of its Student Representative Council (MPP) for UPM’s 2015/2016 academic session.

Mohd Syzrul received a symbolic appointment letter from UPM Vice-Chancellor,  Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mohd. Fauzi Ramlan, during the presentation of appointment letters ceremony and council appreciation for UPM 2015/2016 Session.



It was witnessed by Deputy Vice Chancellor (Students' Affairs & Alumni), Prof. Dato' Dr. Mohammad Shatar Sabran, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic and International), Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mad Nasir Shamsudin and Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research & Innovation),  Prof. Dato' Dr. Mohd. Azmi Mohd Lila.

UPM MPP Vice Yang Dipertua, Muhd Zikri Zulkiflee; UPM MPP secretary-general, Maisarah Mohamed Zakaria; and UPM MPP Treasurer, Song Yu Hui, also received their respective letters of appointment.



The event also saw 45 MPP members who were in the council’s new lineup for UPM 2015/2016 Session, taking their pledge.

The event also paid tributes to the contributions made by UPM MPP members in 2014/2015 Session who had served as a proactive platform to the university’s administration in maintaining and looking after the students’ welfare in last year’s academic session. – UPM.
