Globalization and economic factors encourage excellent student to pursue Master’s degree winning the Presidential Award

SERDANG, 8 Nov – The globalisation factor that involves economy of the country and the world drove an Administrative and Diplomatic Officer (PTD), Ministry of Agriculture and Agro-Based Industry to continue his master education. He was honoured as outstanding student and received the Presidential Award.

Muhamed Salim Mohd Ali, 41, who received Master of Business Administration (International Business) from the Putra Business School, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) at the 19th UPM-Private Higher Learning Institution (IPTS) Collaborative Programme Convocation Ceremony said he intends to use his knowledge to help his organisation.

“If you wish to continue your studies, the intention has to be right. For example, we will use the knowledge gained to help the society.”

“Do not skip classes, have group discussions to hear a variety of opinions on an issue and revise past questions frequently,” said Salim sharing his tips about full-time studies which took him a period of two years.

Salim who was also the President of the Putra Student Association in 2015 and 2016 said, as a husband and father, he had to be wise in dividing time for studies at the Putra Business School that he describes as the best business school in the country.
