Motion Capture records movement and converts it into a digital model. 

The InfoComm Development Centre (iDEC) also provides motion capture service, which is a process that records movement and then converts the recording  into a digital model. It is used in by the military, in the entertainment industry, sports, medicine, computer simulation and robotics.

InfoComm Development Centre (iDEC) uses the motion capture equipment for research purposes, namely  for postgraduate projects by students from the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology (FSKTM) Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM); for educational use such as Motion Capture Course offered by Kolej Kemahiran Tinggi MARA, Rembau Branch and for service use such as commercial projects by local companies particularly those involved in animation.
