UPM, ISN collaborates in science, medicine and sports technology research

BUKIT JALIL, Nov 25 – The Faculty of Educational Studies (FPP), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) and the National Sports Institute (ISN) are collaborating in science, medicine and sports technology research.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was presented by ISN Chief Executive Officer, Ahmad Faedzal Md Ramli, to UPM Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Mohd Roslan Sulaiman, at the 10th Anniversary of ISN Celebration Ceremony here.

It was witnessed by the Chairman of UPM Board, Yang Amat Mulia Tengku Syarif Laksamana Perlis, Dato’ Seri Diraja Syed Razlan Ibni Syed Putra Jamalullail.

Also present were the Minister of Youth and Sports, Dato’ Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu, the Deputy Secretary-General (Strategic), Ministry of Youth and Sports, Ramona Mohd Razali and the Director-General of National Sports Council, Dato’ Ahmad Shapawi Ismail.

Head of Sports Studies Department, FPP, UPM, Assoc. Prof.  Dr. Tengku Fadilah Tengku Kamalden, said the MoU was established to foster cooperation in research and sports science, to share equipment expertise and research materials, as well as to offer education and development studies jointly. - UPM
