SERDANG, Sept 14 – The Malaysia Book of Records gave recognition to the Let’s Zafina with UPM Community programme in the “Largest Participants I’m a ‘Zafina’ Fitness Performance” category.
The Deputy Vice Chancellor (Student Affairs and Alumni) of UPM, Prof. Dr. Mohd Roslan Sulaiman, said that the programme indicates a healthy lifestyle by dancing and is popular nowadays.
“The dance fitness programme is not boring and is in fact, an interesting activity that can become a daily exercise routine. It is able to improve health and is a good start in uplifting health workouts in the form of dancing,” he said.
The programme was organised by the Student Affairs Division (BHEP), UPM, Co-curriculum and Student Development Centre (PKPP), UPM and the Zafina Fitness Group. It was participated by 6,278 UPM students and staff as well as community members in the surrounding area - UPM
